I found a set of the schumaker shorty headers locally here for sale. The problem is they were in a dart with a 400. Mine is a 440. Is there 2 different headers, or do they fit all?? Also, how do they flow?? Better than the HP manifolds?? I know lots of guys have used them, any info back would greatly be appreciated. Bobby

I have used the same pair on a 383 and now a 440, only slight mods needed to the rest of the exhaust system, but they are the same header.
Ive never heard anyone unhappy with them, though some people do get good gains when going to a larger header if the motor is being choked by them. For street/strip they are a good choice and installing them is almost too easy.

Love mine. Would love to see them make a set with bigger tubes, though. Have even thought of getting them copied with bigger tubes by a custom header builder.
