more progress ...I got one of the wheel tubs done today ... the cutting out part was cake .. the lineing up and making the filler strip took some time though ... plenty of room for the 305/45/R18 drag radials ... the rims are chorme but the always look gold in the photos ..

'68 Val-keep the pics coming---you almost have me convinced to mini-tub my Duster.
The frame connectors look great-did you buy the correct ones so you didn't have to go into your floor, or did you make them?
Please make sure you take lots of pics when yopu move your springs---I'll need motivation for mine.

I have an Eastcoaster from Michigan that's been pretty solid. 2nd paint job wasn't very good though, so it had some bubbles and light surface rust on floors.

Well the only thing I have managed to get done on the car in 2 weeks is the other wheel tub.   But there have been lots of other goodies showing up .... new roll bar,,new dana 60,and my honey bought me a 440 source stroker kit for my birthday, so I took the money I had slated for it and bought a new block ( the one from world castings. with 4.31 bore )  the new block even has a provision for an external oil pickup built right into the block ( that'll save $350 on a new milodon external oil kit, I already have an external pickup I bought on Ebag for $25 with the a -12 an line )

finally got some time to work on the car again.  the mini tub is done and the springs have been moved in (special thanks to Tom B for th e tips on welding where I couldn't seem to get it done).   I also welded in the cross member for the RMS street lynx rear suspension.  I filled all the extra holes in the fire wall and welded the brackets in for the console ( thanks again to Jim Lusk for the pics of the console brackets he posted some time back)   here are some more pics !!!

The new RMS torsion bar front end has the shocks mount in the stock hole so I will not need to weld those up.
