71 duster with 440-1 heads
« on: June 29, 2008, 06:31:42 PM »

Thought i would try to post some pics of the duster I have been working on. Its going to be 440 stroked to 493 with indy 440-1 heads. Have not seen many with a 440 with these heads fit in a duster. I still just got the block and heads sitting there trying to fit every thing in and around it. The headers I got I still had to cut three of the tubes and rerout them to get them to work but turned out real nice. This was my first roll cage that I ever put in and welded up along with the dana 60 I narrowed and put together. Hope to have it running in a few months. What ya think? Well could not figure out how to post pics can someone tell me how.

I could not get my headers to clear the torsion bars without cutting then but they worked out real good after that.
