I just bought the cam mentioned above for a 440 11.7-1 comp Eldelbrock RPM heads ported to 310 cfm,800 cfm holley carb.3200 lb Dart,727 trans,3500 stall convertor,4.30 gears 28" hoorers.should run good.I've just not run a hughs cam before.

You will like the cam I have it in my 512 with 850 mighty demon indy heads and intake.
