The guy wants to tear it down and check things out, then meet again and figure out what I want. I'm building a '69 340 in a '72 Duster. It has a four speed, of course. I'm thinking about 3.91 gears. It'll be driven around home for the most part, but I want to be able to throw a 3.23 in it and take it on longer drives. I'm planning Edelbrock heads, TTI headers, and the rest is up in the air. The guy likes Holley carbs. I've been a Carter guy, but I'll have to get up to speed on the Holleys. He's got a dyno and I think I'll opt for a dyno session to get everything dialed in. Plus it would be cool to have a curve to hang on the garage wall. For SO long, I haven't had the money to get my car done the way I wanted it - now it's finally coming together. It should be on the road next summer. Maybe EARLY next summer.
