What type Darts are represented here
« on: July 03, 2008, 12:24:18 AM »

I'm just curious to see how many of us have Daily Drivers/Street Fighters as opposed to Dedicated Race cars or cars that fit somewhere in between...

Thank you for your time... Cool

Doh! After I voted already!

Oh well. Still accurate enough. This is a good poll. I can't imagine many trailer queens at this site. Everyone seems to like to thrash on them in the garage, and then thrash on them in the street!  duster  motorinstall  4 speed

I think it's the goal, too. Even if your car is apart chosse what the plan is. And 67, you're right. Even Maynard drives his 67 GTS. My GTS convertible has been a daily driver and my sons even drove it to high school at times...........

Voted occasional driver. Would have been a daily driver if I didn't have so many cars. hammer

Both the 67 and the 73 are occasional drivers. The only problem is the last time I occasionally drove the 67 was in 2004.  Embarrassed

Nope. She still maintains her regal stance atop the jack stands.
Got all the parts (and then some), just waiting on the time to get the LF rail welded up and put it back together.
Been pulling doubles for the past few weeks - no time to sleep much less work on the poor beast.

Disassembled here too.

Will be a summer daily driver/street fighter until gas is $5 a litre up here ($1.35 now). Then, I'll put a slant six in it lol

Well, it's NOT a Dart, but it is my ride...I started out back in '96 when it was finally finished, doing show after show...in town and "Trailer Queening" it to out of town shows...I was afraid to get it dirty cause it was a pain keeping it in show condition...

I used to go to the track with my car club buddies and watch them having fun at the local dragstrip...Suddenly I had a change in what I wanted to do with her, I wanted to have FUN, not sit behind her at a stinking car show all day...So I did this....

this is when I started having FUN...I raced her a couple times, got it out of my system...now I'm back to doing a few shows a year, and more cruze nights...as soon as I get my tranny readjusted...I'm gonna take her to IRP here in Indy.....
