I am finally starting to post again since my back surgery on June 11th. It's been a little tuffer on me then I thought but I guess since I will be 52 in just over a week it let me know I am getting older. I just started theraphy and really dont think I will go back to work untill late August. I will just have to see how it goes. Just glad to stop in and say Hi !  Ron |

That's good to hear. Take it easy and DON'T try to lift anything too heavy ever again. Let the younger crowd do that, or better yet use lifts and other mechanical means.

Hello:
WOW now that is good news Ron..I been wondering what was up with you....your just a kid compared to me so if this old guy can do it you can for sure. I just had my almost 6 month check up with my surgeon all 5 of my $40,000 screws are in place intact and tight and thats good. Just wondering if your surgeon gave you a copy of the x-ray with the screws in? Mine did I keep them posted where i see them at my computer just as a reminder...
Take it easy go slow and get better we really missed your posts Ron, glad your back.

Glad to hear your feeling better, young fellow. We used to work for a lady in her mid 90's. We also had a mutual friend in his mid 90's, and when ever you mentioned his name to her she called him that young fella. She was born late December and he was born early January the next year. I turned 52 in March so that makes you a youngster. Yes, hitting 50 makes you realize you're getting older. My knees are shot from running on concrete and steel for years. My rt hip is shot from compensating for my knee. My family went to Disney for fathers day and while home alone I did something to my Sciatic Nerve (spelling?). Couldn't get out of bed, bend or twist. Pain like I never had. The only postion that was comfortable was standing. Thankfully it only lasted a few days.
Hope the healing goes well and you feel better daily, Joe.

Sounds good ron, glad it's getting better.

I'll have my big brother hook you up.
If you are ever there on a Saturday, go see him for sure after racing, his band practices in his basement on Sat nights and his drumming is phenominal, plus he has a really cute redhead as the singer.
