i have a mild 440 (bored 030, six pack pistons, mild 452 heads,msd ignition rpm manifold modified 750 double pumper) going ina 70 dodge charger with 4.56 gears & 3000-3500 stall converter, i have a choice between the 509, cam & lunati 520/547,240/250 @050.....which cam would be a better choice.....this car will only be a weekened cruiser & at the strip 10-15 times per year.........

4;56 gears and a 3,000 stall.  The 509 cam is larger in duration, it's like 248 @ .050 but shorter lift. With some 1.6 rockers, it would work with your combo.  Has their been any head work done?

 agree With the 1.6's it should reach .543" lift. You'll be leaning more towards race than street but, eh, who cares. The only stipulation I put on the system is whether or not the Lunati is a solid or hyd cam. If the Lunati is a solid I'd go there.

Hi,
  I got the 60304 for my setup. It has a smooth idle. About 10 in. of vacuum at idle & pulls like hell all the way to my 6000 redline.
