I was looking thru old stuff and found a tach/dwell meter with 2 wires (black and red).
What is the correct wire hook up, (can't remember)?
Can this be used with mopar electronic ignition conversion,orange box, and MSD Blaster coil or
should I pitch it and spring for a new one?

It should be OK for the tach. use. Red would go to the coil (neg. or - side). and the black to a good ground.

I'm pretty sure they're for settin' up points. I sold mine off a long time ago.

Hello: It was used to set the point gap.  If you are never going to use a points ignition you can get rid of it. (Or maybe just send it to people that are stuck in the past like me.  ...) Seriously, if you need instructions on using one let me know and i'll copy you some....I got a couple of them..  Maynard |

I remember using it on Chevies that had a little door in the distributor cap that you adjusted the dwell while the engine was running.
Now, for a tach, I have the Snap on tach advance timing light. Love that thing.
