The thing works great. Timing used to jump 3-4°'s  when I set the initial timing, now it's rock steady.

I`ve used those for years , Ed Hamburger 's For 340`s/360`s  Only used to sell them . A rod coupling will also work.
Well worth the effort to install .

No, They just keep end play from effecting timing.
I bought collars from a local brg supply. Same thing and only a couple $$$ each,

i need one of those--if i go to the bearing store ,  what exactly do i ask for ?   shaft collar?

Are these needed for race motors only? Will motors that spin under 6K benifit from this also?
