I just got my new CSR reverse flow water pump and it hits the top of your motor plate. You will need to cut a slot in the top between the water ports.  Just wanted to let you know!

Interesting arrangement.  I don't think I'll be making that mod in the motor plates since then it wipes out the ability to bolt on the Jesel distributor.  Or at least I'll just wait awhile before I do anything and see which water pump becomes more popular.  The Meziere pump is more conventional so I'm betting on it at the moment but I can change my parts if enough customer's demand it.

Here is what the Meziere reverse flow water pump looks like.  With the Meziere unit you can run the Jesel belt driven distributor.

After looking at it a bit more it looks like you had another option.  Rather than cutting the motor plate you could have made some spacers to move the pump body up an inch or so.  It looks like there are just two water manifold connections so some simple spacers would've worked.

It was easier to cut the plate then fab up spacers. I'm getting real tired of making stuff for this combo!

Good lookin' pump you got there - I didn't even know they made them.  Too bad I have already bought all the stuff to do a reverse cool over a year ago.
