Can't remember where I saw it, whether in Mopar Muscle or not - but someone fitted a voltmeter in the stock ampmeter location on a Dart or possibly a Valient.
Anyone know who offers the guage and have a pic?

i got the info from MAD electric: info@redlinegaugeworks.comYes, we offer amp to voltmeter conversions for $125 and it requires that you send the complete cluster. Please give us a call if you have further questions. (661) 259-8891. Thanks,Shannon Shannon

No replacement for displacement!

I visited them at Carlisle this weekend and they told me the same thing/price. They said they can change your gauge face to read volts also or just tell you how to read it with the old face. I was thinking of doing all the gauges in white anyway on my valiant.

I bet if you just take the wires and run one to gound, the other to pos on the battery, it will be a voltmeter. just have to dial it in mentally, using a hand held voltmeter, to remember how much voltage at load, etc.

Do that and you'll probably cook your fusible link. The ammeter is a shunt and if you hook up one side to groung the electrical system will see this as a short circuit. Voltmeters are high impedence devices so as not to load down the circuit.
