Where to find crank specs?
« on: July 16, 2008, 07:27:30 PM »

I'm about to assemble the short block for my 408 and would like to double check the specs on the crank.
If any one knows where to find these #'s please respond.

What are you looking for, journal diameters, thrust clearance?

Have you checked the crank manufactures site?

I have the factory journal sizes for a 340 and 360 which should be the same spec as a stroker as long as it's not a chevy rod pin.

The journals,   ....   2.81- main journal
                            2.125- rod journal   sound right?
