Brake upgrades?
« on: July 16, 2008, 11:15:15 PM »

I know theres the 11.75" brake rotor off a FMJ car with the FMJ caliper mount upgrade but is there any other upgrades I can do? I was thinking maybe if I went and bought a pair of 11.75" rotors maybe I could bolt on a set of 6 piston wilwood calipers if I built caliper mounts at work. I might do the same for the rear I could probably make a mount and use 4 piston wilwoods.

I would like to for now clear a set of 15 inch bassett racing wheels. which is why I'm wondering if it's possible If I bought the 6 piston calipers that they would work on the 11.75 rotor.

hmm I wonder if it'll work with the Superlite 6 piston calipers from Wilwood, When I phone my dealership they wanted about 2K for both side Viper calipers. Wilwood Superlite's cot abotu 350 each.
