finally!!!

well the mortgage finally came through. a month late with every possible delay, but it's in. construction on the addition should start in a week. now we can take off out to calgary to see my stepdaughter. we were supposed to leave a week ago, but with the mortgage, we just couldn't. i'll be playing at her wedding. i play guitar, not real well but ok. i've been taking lessons and practicing the hell out of two songs. getting hooked up with this teacher has reawakened my interest in music. i'm still terrified, but i'm gonna do it. i was never real comfortable playing in front of people.
we bought a trailer for the trip out, and to use later on. the website is www.motomate.com i think. neat little thing. 53" tall. weighs 330 lbs. i used to weigh more.. we can't stand up in it, but it's a dry place to sleep, has power to it, and a back hatch that opens into a kitchen area. all in all it's a pretty cool little thing.barely notice it towing behind sandi's neon. we're leaving today. in a couple hours in fact. i expect we'll be out of touch for a couple days.

Good luck with the gig. Don't worry about the crowd. My wife plays and hates the crowd too-,but she says the butterflies always go away as soon as she strikes the first chord. If I was you,I'd be more worried about getting there on time with a Neon.

hi guys. well we're in calgary. the neon....sorry sx2 made it just fine worked it kinda hard on some of the hills, but i think with a chip and a cold air intake that it would work ok. would have liked to catch up to some of youguys, but we were a week late getting started. i'll post pics later.
