Mustang chassis dyno V's Dyno jet.
« on: July 19, 2008, 02:56:36 PM »

Hi guys,

How much less does the Mustang chassis dyno take out for  the weight of car and wind resistance wich i believe is 20% less than the dynojets reading......Like if your car makes 500 RWHP on the dynojet dyno and it would more likely be say 400 RWHP on the Mustang  Chassis dyno is this correct? Please let me know? Being fare there both Chassis dyno's not engine dyno's. Undecided

                                          Thanks,Brian.B.

I had my car on a mustang dyno and the shop said it would always read less than other dyno's.  They recommended if I wanted the highest HP numbers to go to another shop.  The focus of the shop I used was to focus not on total hp, but to make the most hp you could safely run for the given combination.
