Was AWESOME! Saw it at the IMAX yesterday, and that's the ONLY way to see it. The movie goes for its full run-time and is kept in it's regular theatrical aspect ratio. But the action scenes and areal stunts are filmed with IMAX cameras so it takes up the whole screen. You're so into it when it transitions back to widescreen that you don't notice, but then when it goes back to full IMAX you definitely notice.
And Heath Ledger was phenomenal as the Joker. All the hype about his portrayal is well placed. He easily lives up to it.
And Two-Face, DAYAMN is all I can say.

I watched it yesterday, it was awesome. We got it the morning after it came out, it was a little dark and a hair out of focus, but was still awesome. (syscon ripped it) It was awesome, I would pay to watch it a couple times.

The lines were out the door to see it yesterday so I passed. I really want to see it though.

I work for Time Warner and I was supposed to get early viewing passes, but low and behold, because of cutbacks, all that stuff was cancelled. That's ok, I wanna see it in I Max anyway.
Opie and Anthony were talking about it on the radio. They said people were saying early on How was Heath Ledger ever going to follow up Jack Nicholson's Joker. They said it was NO CONTEST. Ledger's performance blew away any previous Bat villain.

I think an actor's or comedian's best work is when they're stoned or drunk just before they die. Great stuff!

It was great. The Joker was awesome. I'm a comic guy so I always try to see comic movies.
Now I'm just waiting to see if my first appearance of Two-Face is going to shoot up in value. Last I saw it was around $2,500.

Yup, I agree. That movie was awesome. Went and saw the late showing of it last night; never got bored or antsy which is super rare even for a normally-lengthed movie.
