My dog Gretchen beats the heat on my recliner in the A/C. At 101F, you just can't leave a dog outside here in TX. One thing I have learned, get up early and get all your outside work done before it gets too hot. Last Saturday I washed the windows outside, at 8 am it was 82F, by 8:40 I was weed whacking at 88F, I finished mowing the lawn at 10:30, the thermometer was at 94F. That was it for me, I joing the dog on the couch and watched TV with her.
