Rear Drum Brake for Dart 70'

Hi all , i rebuild my rear drum brake and after clenear i desire see a view hight quality for assembly the pieces , on the net i see this ...




But its a 95' model and is it good for a 70' model ?

yeah drum brakes have been the same for years. I doubt theres much difference between the pictures and a system you'd find on a 50's chrysler just would be a couple differences in size of the drums, and shapes of the springs and what not.

I just looked at that article and it seemed to be good info, except one point. 

He mentions using needle nose vice grips to stretch the springs on and off.  This is a bad idea, I know from experience.  The spring can slip out and the needle nose pliers continue on.  I was pulling an upper spring one time and the spring slipped free.  The needle nose plier gouged me in the soft flesh just above the eye but below the brow.  Bled like a stuck pig!!

A cheap set of brake pliers can be had for about 1/4 the price of needle nose vice grips.
