tell me about this kmember LOOK
« on: March 07, 2006, 07:28:45 PM »

I just purchased this kmember and the rest of the front suspension from an online classified.  I was told by the seller that he thought I could purchase new yorker motor mounts and I would be able to put my RB in my 67 Barracuda. I was planning on using a motor plate, but if this is true then that sure seems awful simple. The seller said this kmember was from a 340 car, I bought all this for the brake pieces. I have also seen on this web page about modifying a k member to accept a big block (DC kmember), is this modification necessary for me. any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance

That appears to be a 73-76 A-body small block K-frame.  You'll need to modify it to be able to drop your RB into it.  The information is in the tech area.

Good luck with it.

Yes, that is the k-member you need to make a DC k-member out of. Follow the instructions on the tech pages.
