A body bench seat
« on: August 01, 2008, 07:47:33 PM »

I've got a 68 dodge coronet that I would like to install a front bench seat in, my question is, will an A body front bench seat work or will it be to narrow ?  I know I could just measure, but the seats I am looking at are on ebay.  Any help would be great. Thanx

If you know anyone nearby with an A-body and a front bench, I would measure the mounting rails on that to get an idea of what you're working with. I'd just give you a simple yes or no answer...........but I don't know either  hammer

One problem i think you would encounter with that, would be the shape of the floor pans are different. Your seats tracks just wont fit quite right. I tried toput some bucket seats from a cuda in my duster once. Didnt work out.
