Hey guys, I'm looking for some shifter suggestions for my 67 Dart. I don't really know whats available for the a-833's, I'll need something that is good for street/strip use. I'm also wondering what, if anything, can be done to the a-833 for better performance.

I would definitely go with a Hurst. Personally, I like the competition plus. Unfortunately, it appears that shiter rods are no longer available for an A body. You would have to call Summit to be sure, though. The Super Shifter was great too, but the shifter rods can be a problem - I think they require some tunnel modifications to fit. The Competition Plus will fit without mods. You don't need to do anything special to the trans for performance. Use a good clutch and shifter, and you should be fine.
