MSD shielded pickup question.
« on: August 08, 2008, 04:48:11 PM »

Putting the 6AL box in the trunk.  I'm using PN 8862 to run the pickup to the front.  Each has a ground on it.  If you run them in series, do you need to hook up the individual grounds or just one of them?

the ground on the extension cable is to keep interference out of the long cable.  it needs to be grounded.   The MSD also needs a good ground to work as well
