I'm probably gonna have to replace my hood-its ok on the outside, but the ribbing around the latch is really bad. I was just wondering if you guys prefer one piece fiberglass hoods, or stamped steel. I think either way it's gonna run me close to $700 by the time I get it. Weight is not an issue-it's not a full race car.

I would go with either one really. I wanted a GTS type hood, but lke you said it ends up costing you around $700+ with the inserts and the hood. I went with an fiberglass AAR cowl induction hood because I didn't like the Dart hood with a six pack scoop and the hemi style scoop isn't very "All-season", if you know what I mean. But the glass ones at least give you options you don't get with steel to suit your car's mood or intended use. I think the cowl induction made it look angry. (see pic) Do I still have a std steel hood? Yes, I even have another one that I'll butcher for a hemi style scoop (only because it is such a rusty, bondo riddled piece that lightening it up or cutting a hole in it won't be killing something of value.
