Did you purchase those or plasma yourself? If purchased, how was the fit and did you have to modify them.

I wish they made those laser cut connectors for early b-body, definitely the right way to do it. Looks good Chad!

the connectors are from us car tool ... they fit pretty well. I would say that they fit as good as they could have for the production tolerances of the cars. I have about 6 hours total in installing both of them, and would buy them again.

I am right now doing the mini tubb on my 67 dart project. I have the springs relocated, and one side of the mini tubb is mostly done. Next i plan to install the frame connectors. Did you install yours with the car on the rotisserie? I am wondering how you did yours, as mine is on one as well. I have heard to put it on its side and weld them in , and i have heard to put it on jack stands to weld it in. I do not want to weld it so that it cause it to be bent or twisted. Not wanting to hijack your thread, but you are in the same boat as me.i have not been on here lately because i have been working on the dart. Any help would be great, and yours is looking good as well. Matt

I have installed many set of frame connectors wit hcars on the turner and never had a ny problems, actually i took masurements of the top of the door openings when the car was on the ground. they were the same when the car is on the turner. if the car is in good structural shape there will be no issues installing the frame connectors on the turner, but if the quarters, rockers, floor and trunk extensions are rotted away you might want to reconsider installign on a turner.

When you attempt to make the fill strips here's what I did.
I got the halves up in the car where I wanted with whatever spread, in my case 3" from end to end. I tacked a couple of piece of steel in place to keep the halves spread. Cut out strips of construction paper and taped it across the opening. Magic marker the spread, remove and cut out the template adding whatever amount you want if overlapping or the outside edge if butt welding. Made life a lot easier.
