I need your help.... I have a Holley HP 1000 carb and had problems with a part throttle richness 10.5 - 11.5 I changed jets,Air bleeds and i just can't lean out the part throttle richness.....I now have, Proforms metering blocks with 4 adjustable emulsion bleeds, but i don't know if the smallest bleed should go at the top or the bottom and stager in size from there? The Holley's have 3 emulsions non-adjustable bleeds and are 28 thousand each as measured....So the big question is: To get the part throttle fuel curve leaned out, do i start with a smaller bleed in the bottom of the metering block ? I placed a 25, 26,28,28. starting at the bottom of both blocks, is this a good start? Or am i heading in the wrong direction? Thanks for any help you may offer!

Are you running power valves? If so, lean out the main jets and then go larger on the power valve restriction. You should be able to run the main circuit at about 14:1 and then open up the PVCRs until you get 12.5 at wide open throttle.
