73 Scamp motor mount question
« on: August 14, 2008, 09:18:15 PM »

I have a 73 scamp that was originally a slant 6. Im installing a 360. I ve been told that one of the engine stands on the k member will work with the original mount, but one side will need fabricated. Anybody have any ideas. Im trying not to buy a 200 dollar set of mounts. Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. Thanx for you replies, love the site!!!

Check out the transdapt mounts...they are only like 80 bucks and come with the mounts and all the hardware you need to swap a small block into a /6 car....its what im going to use to put my 340 in to my 71 scamp....dont go spend throw money on shumacher mounts for the small block swap, its just a waste

I think the transdapt mounts are only for pre-73 k-members.
