73" swinger what tools to get out dash

i am going straight to the salvage yard when i get out of work tomorrow,i found a black dash pad in a 69" cuda with no cracks in it for $50.00 i have to take it out my car is at the frame straightener right now so i can't look at mine,could some one tell me what tools i am gonna need

i don't need to know just the tools,i don't know if i can take the pad off with dash still in car or really what i am getting into and i am only gonna have a couple of hrs before they close to try to get it out

bring a 1/4 inch drive ratchet if you can,it's a tight fit in there a socket driver may be handy too.
gloves may help from getting scratched up.
know where the fasteners are before you start.
bring all the tools you can carry,a bucket works well if you don't have a tool bag.
you never know what else you may find so be prepared.

It will take a 3/8 socket and, I believe a 5/16. Remove every dash component (cluster, radio/heater bezel, glove box, heater controls.......). There are five nuts along the horizontal part and one screw at each end.

thanks taking the speedo and radio bezels off and glove box makes a lot of sense,i will let you know how it goes,thanks..........Ted

yep you were right jim a 3/8 and a 5/16 theres two spots on this dash on top the size of pencil lead holes not even that big that can be repaired you don't find to many 69"cuda's in a salvage yrd i got the dash pad and about 15inches of the front right frame rail for $50.00 theres still some good parts on the car it has a 273 in it
