What block? I believe the 383/400 team G's have mean indentations in the inner runners for the intake bolts. In that case, I'd probably say the M1 would be better. Not sure on the RB motor though.

so you have both. put hte "G" on your motor first and go to the track, tune the carb for it and everything to it. now change to the "1" and do the same thing and let me now which one is faster, i'd like to know if you have the same experience/result as i had doing the test.

i had a guy tell me he tried both on a b motor and surprisingly gained nothing switching to the m1. i think the m1 looks like it would be one of the best single planes. i have a torker on my 431 i always hated the way it looks like an X and the runner just dont have a nice smooth shot into the head, it also has notches for the bolts not as bad as the team g though. i bough tan M1 and never put it on. i wa asurprised to see the torker actually do pretty well on the magazine dyno tests.

Victor or an Indy manifold will get the air in and not restrict your heads. You dont want to spend $$$ on your heads only to restrict the air before it reaches them. The Hughes article recomends 16-20% more airflow through the manifold than the heads. You could be at as little as 312cfm through a Team G. Thats way under your ported SRs.
