metal strip that covers top of door panel

looking for the J channel piece that you screw to the door before putting the door panel on, the top of the door panel slips inside of it. this is for a 69 dart.

are you talking about the chrome strip that goes across the top that the door pannel sits in? if that is what it is i believe i have some you can have.

thats the part but mine arent chrome.

no, the top of the cardboard door panel slips into it on the door.  it is held to the door with 4 philips screws.

carpet cover plates. year one has them under p/n cp63lh and cp63rh fot 75.00 each or both p/n cp63h/rh for 145.00

hmmm. nothing to do with carpet. it is mounted on the door. top of the door panel. it covers the top edge of the door panel, when you install the door panel you sli the top into this piece then push the bottom clips in.
