there is a chevy guy in town that can be ok at times. it actually depends on  the part, he is a keystone retailer so if he cant get it through them the price usually isnt that good.  his prices are good on tires and a lot of the knock off parts competitive with mailorder. go there for mopar specific stuff and forget it.

Look for an industrial hose supplier.  We have a great place here on Long Island that sells Aeroquip.  Prices aren't bad for a local place.

Try HRPworld.com some of the pricing looks good. And the shipping is cheap.

I generally go with Summit if I need anything that I can't get local. There is a local Kragan with a small speed shop. They will match Summit's price.......

You have speed shops??  Shocked

None here. There used to be one toward Milwaukee. They were fine if you wanted wheels, or a Chevy part, but most stuff they had to order. It took them longer to get the part than if I ordered it from Summit, Jegs, Mancini, or Chicago Connection (remember them?).  The place is gone now.

Another local auto parts chain handled some performance parts. That whole chain is gone too. Good riddance! They were notorious for selling you the wrong part.

I like to buy from Mancini when possible. Good guys. Otherwise, I go with Summit or Speedway. Sometimes Speedway has smokin' good prices vs Summit and Jegs.

NAPA has good odds and ends, wouldn't go there for anything real big deal though. I think the muffler is obvious though, just go to your local whatever auto parts store and get it to put it on or go through Midas or such to get it put on.

agreed.  the place near me is an "industrial liquidator" place.  they have every size and kind of stainless braided, brake line, hose, fitting, heim joint and tool you could ever need for wayy cheaper than hitting any speed shop you could think of.  not to mention a zillion other things Ive used on the ride like cables and ends, shrink tube by the yard etc

love that place   Hug

Me too. Its nice to have summit right down the road but even they are alittle limited when it comes to mopar specific.

2 times in a row ive ordered over $400 worth of stuff from mancini at approx 2pm and they were sitting on my porch the next morning at 11am

I have a Motorstate wholesale distributor close to my house. He primarily builds roundy-round engines but can order me any part at usually a decent discounted price compared to most other retailers.
If it Mopar specific, then usually Mancini (somewhat local). Jegs and Summit are always good backups.

Summit pro shop for most stuff. The pro shop gives a discount over the regular summit price.  I had to send in a copy of my NHRA license to get in the program.  The local speed shop gives me a good deal on a lot of stuff, and usually no tax

Ive never had a problem with Summit or Jegs, see which one is closer to you and youll get it quicker, prices are usually the same. the only time I go to the local speed shop (Team C) is if I need it the same day

Everything online is either summit or partsamerica.com.  Summit because the warehouse is in Vegas, not to far, so shipping is quick.  And never had one problem over the years.  Plus there website is very easy to use, Jegs is just bad.  Partsamerica is Checker, Schuck's, Kragen... online shop, so usually shipping is free or you can just pick it up at the local shop.  Locall speed shop is 95% chevy stuff, only been once in the last 5 years and that was just to look around.
