So whats the difference between the the two. Or just a diferent name for the same thing. If they are not the same thing which is stronger? I just found a 68 coronet with what appers to be a dana , but im not sure. I wouldnt mind putting it on an a body. I have a 72 duster im working on right now, after this one is done i want to build a 67-69 Dart. So which year is more sought after, i hear alot of guys not wanting the 69 model. So whats the difference anyway. Alright thats all, thanks

They are not the same. The Dana 60 has a 9 3/4" ring gear and is stronger than a 9 1/4". You'll probably find that more parts are available fore the Dana 60 than the 9 1/4"

Stay away from the 9 1/4". They don't hold up well in the 1/2 ton pickups. I broke mine 3 times Warranty then I went Dana 60's
