Question about the Throwout bearing

Not to sound ignorant, I have no clue what the pins or clips are for on the throwout bearing??? do they serve a purpose??  Dave

They connect it to the clutch fork and keep it from spinning.

How does it do that if the clutch fork doesn't have any holes in it? And why does my clutch fork not go around my throw out bearing, I can't get it to go in far enough to lock into the pivot.   Dave

My clutch fork looks exactly like the one brewers sells and my throwout bearing is a brand new Hays bearing, anybody got a picture of what my fork is supposed to look like?  Thanks dave

Sometimes they are hard to get in, especially if it's all in the car.

Yeah, there aren't holes.  They clip on the two "prongs" of the fork... Sorta hard to explain..
