Stock fuel line question
« on: August 30, 2008, 10:07:58 PM »

OK-here goes. My Duster has a new stock tank, and I peeled off the old 5/16" line from the tank to the eng and replaced it with 3/8 line, and beside that ,there was another 5/16 line that goes over to the bottom of the vent pipe in the trunk. I' wondering if I need this line. I dont even know where it went on the /6-the engine is gone. I assume it's just for vapours. Also, there is a second small nipple on the new tank unit, and I dont know what it's for either. I took the old tank off years ago, and dont remember the old sender. Can anybody help with this? Dunno

Sounds like a vent line.

The second nipple on the pick up is for a return from engine, If your not running one just cap it off or use 1/4in hose
two hose clamps and a bolt. Will work fine.

Yeah, it went to vapor cannister, that fed into crankcase air.
