Hey guys, Im thinking of going with black steelies on my 71 scamp which i jsut minitubbed.....i think those wheels look pretty sinister, and since they wont add that much weight to my car, im seriously considering them...if you guys have any pictures of your cars with fat tires and black steelies aka drag look please post as i would love to see some examples before i decide for sure thanks  Matthew |

They are 15" rims. I said 10" rims they are 8" rims with 275/60/15 Drag Radials. I still have an easy 1.5" on the inside and about 3/4" on the outside. I think it sits just about right.

Hey guys the cars look awesome....73swinger were you at moparfest? me and my dad were leaving on the saturday and we were behind a blue dart like yours that had nice fatties on it on the highway....car looked good from behind....you even dropped the hammer too a little  ...Im thinking of maybe winchester gray, sassy grass or sublime with the black steelies, but im also very partial to the drag wheel look, so its getting really hard for me to decide....anyways guys keep posting, the cars are lookin good |

They were stock wheels used on Ramcharger trucks. I bought them used, but not that easy to find these days.

Hey guys the cars look awesome....73swinger were you at moparfest? me and my dad were leaving on the saturday and we were behind a blue dart like yours that had nice fatties on it on the highway....car looked good from behind....you even dropped the hammer too a little ...Im thinking of maybe winchester gray, sassy grass or sublime with the black steelies, but im also very partial to the drag wheel look, so its getting really hard for me to decide....anyways guys keep posting, the cars are lookin good yep that was me, I was trying to get someone to race me, but they were all too scared. I don't understand why someone would have a BB car if they don't want to get on it a bit. The wheels are from Wheel Vintiques, Fronts are 15x6, rears are 15x10 with 7 5/8 backspacing. Rear end is stock 68 A body 8 3/4. Tires are MT S/R radials, 325-50-15. Which are 28"tall and 12.1 wide (section) and 11.7 tread. |

Minitubbed 68 Dart. These wheels are 14x7", with 4 5/8" backspacing. Tires are Hoosier Quick Times, 275-55 14s. I just finished mini tubbing it, so I will need to get new tires and wheels to fill the wheel wells now. Probably 15x10s, with a 29.5 tall, and 12 or 13" wide tire. codfish  |

Thanks. Wheels are just steelies, which are painted body color. Color is MM1 Turbine Bronze. Rears are 14x7", and fronts are 14x4.5". Front tires are 215-70-14s. Small bolt pattern too. Here's a couple of pics.  This pic is before I added ESPO 1" over springs to the rear. Color looks a little off too as it was overcast that day.  |

Rears are P295 50R15. The 10" wheel was homemade.

Heres a pic of my 64 Val , I had my front rim (police) cut down from 7 in to 4 in , had my rear widen to 9 1/2 the car is mini tub

No shop, just a lathe and a welder. I will send you some pictures. |
