Yes, she's a Berner. She's about 90-95 lbs and her studd dog is 110-120. He was imported from Norway and has some bigger genes in his blood lines. We're hoping Macy's pups will be a little bigger than her, females in the 100 lb range. She has fantastic hips and elbows, always a concern in bigger dogs. It's kinda neat to watch the breeder pick her mate based on both dogs strong points. The choices have alwys seemed to work and make pups a little nicer than the parents. I've always wondered what would happen if only the week genes prevailed and we wound up with some scragly allien looking dog. I shouldn't have said that because we're hoping for 6 or 8 adorable pups just in time for Christmas. Joe. |

very nice looking dog but there is no feeling like giving a dog a second chance from a shelter.
