Hurricane Ike.
« on: September 12, 2008, 04:27:31 PM »

Well it looks like Ike is going to go over my house, I am right in the middle of the path. it should be down to tropical storm strength by the time is hits dallas, but that still means winds of 45mph gusting to 60mph. That pretty much assures me I am going to lose power tomorrow. You can already see the high cloud layer and the winds have gone up just in the past few hours, and just over lunch the gas prices went up .20 a gal.

Anybody else in the path?

Gas went up 52 cents a gallon up here in Canada.
At least we will not get the storm.
Hope everyone makes out ok.

Wow, I lost power about 5 mins. after my last post, finally got power today. Lost a few trees and a couple of fences. Internet seems to really suck, off and on. Man is it good to have power.  !nanr !nanr
