Back in high school, one of my best friends first car was a 65 Belvadere post. It was factory black on black with a 361 Commando, 4spd. For some reason he stuck a 383 auto in it. We put the 383 in the trunk of my 65 Dart Gt and every time we hit a little bump in the road the front wheels would bounce off the ground. He's the one responsible for my addiction to Mopars now. He later built a 65 Dart with a 413, 4spd, out of a 64 Polara. Joe.

I also think you should keep the red interior, they look great in early B bodies. Excellent find.

im done buyin cars for a while, i couldnt pass this one up.......the 65 will be on the back burner.........got my hands full with other projects.........im really diggin my collection of junk, hopefully i can keep most of it........ i wouldnt mind unloadin an AMC or 2  |

OOOOOOHHHHHH YEAH!!!! Thats a keeper. Looks like it's all there. The red interior will look great with the car painted black (just a thought). All the rot you're describing is in the same places mine had it. Mine also had cowl rot, easily repaired. My entire undercaraige was mint. Comes with two scoops (like raisin bran  )? Let me know if you want to unload one of 'em. Good luck with it - keep us posted. Steve i got a lil cowl rot on the pass side........all contained under the hood and in the wheel well.........i also need the tail palel trim if i can find it DAMN, there was a REALLY nice 65 Satellite rear finish trim panel on ebay just a few days ago!!! I don't remember what it sold for, but it was nice! I'll keep my ears and eyes open for parts for you my friend. Richard |
