65 spring question with inboards
« on: September 18, 2008, 02:24:48 PM »

Going to move the springs inboard on my 65 B body.If I move them 1 inch toward the front to use 67 up springs will it work.I figure I can measure where the OE holes are and just weld the inboard kit 1 inch foward to have more access to better and cgeaper springs.I will probally go CalTracs later.Rocky

I think the 65 springs were the same as the super stock springs 20" front segment  ... I would weld the new inboard front boxes at the same place as stock then you can order springs for stock 65  from calvert racing or get a set of super stocks and still bolt them in

The SS are 20 inch the 65 is I believe 21.They are different.I have old SS on it now and had to move the locator pin to use them.Couldnt find a set of front hangers when I installed them years ago.Rocky
