Help with an magazine article

Back in the 70's,One of the magazine's did a how to article on putting a Duster into the 12's with just a gear change,cam,headers,intake and carb.If anyone has or remenbers this article any help would be appreciated.

It was a good article,smog 360 4-speed car.If i remember right they used a .484 cam,Headman headers,M-1 intake with aThermo quad.4.30's or 4.56 gears.

I'm not a small block guy but I just picked up a 65 dart gt with a floor shifter(auto).

The article that got me into Mopar's to begin with was an article by Hot Rod. "Go 12's for 2K" they took a Dart, 1968 I think and a 440 From a Monaco, some parts from a V-8 Duster and threw them all together....... I still have that article....."somewhere"......

I remember the article.  these are the twits that tied the trans tail shaft down with giant hose clamps

  yup thats the one! I LOVE that article....... Thats the article that got me turned on to MOPAR! I dont have the issues anymore but I have those articles printed. I LOVE IT!!
