Just debating if I should put them on or just block off the hole.. Any thoughts. If I go with wipers, does anyone sell a good repop motor or refurbished.

Refurbed wiper motors are available, but they are resto quality and priced as such.

i removed all mine. I knew i would never need them. rain x takes care of what little water that would get on the windshield. most of the cops around here are cool and don't hassle me. but if i did it again i would leave them on because it only takes one dick head cop to ruin your day by giving you a ticket or worse, towing your car.

You are correct west. The CA vehicle code says: 26706. (a) Every motor vehicle, except motorcycles, equipped with a windshield shall also be equipped with a self-operating windshield wiper.
(b) Every new motor vehicle first registered after December 31, 1949, except motorcycles, shall be equipped with two such windshield wipers, one mounted on the right half and one on the left half of the windshield, except that any motor vehicle may be equipped with a single wiper so long as it meets the wiped area requirements in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards Governing Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems.
(c) This section does not apply to snow removal equipment equipped with adequate manually operated windshield wipers. You'd have to find a real dick of a cop to write you up on that one. That's why I asked what state he was in. I think each state would have it's own vehicle code.

I'm in Mich. I would hope they wouldn't bust me as the car isn't really a daily driver.

the motor is out of a 74 dart. not sure what years had them but my 72 has a 3 speed motor in it. i think that all you will need to do is change the switch to use them.
