disc brake swap 69 drum to 75 disc questions

Can I use my drum brake lower control arm and install the bigger ball joints?

Is the lower ball joint pressed in on the drum arm?

How do I remove/replace the 75 dart and 69 dart ball joints (press in/out or screw)

Lower balljoints are spindle specific. The hole in the LCA is the same on all arms. It's the upper ball joint that is different and requires a different control arm.

Yes.

NO! Only trucks' lower ball joints are pressed into the LCA. CAR lowers are BOLTED to the steering knuckle. They look alot alike and sometimes get passed off as 73ish disc brake set ups at swap meets.

Upper ball joints screw out/in (truck and car)
Lower ball joints press in ON TRUCKS.
CAR lower ball joints bolt on to teh steering knuckle
