Sounds like a good deal, but it depends on the quality. I emailed the seller and asked who made the hood.

no, thats the price for each region. Its shipped by truck. Thats common for all hoods. so for California, it would be about $180, just remeber that they are estimates, could be +/- $30 too, also, my bet is its a dock proce, so you might have to drive up to 50 miles to go pick it up. Door deliveries are typically even more expensive.

Got my answer for shipping cost to me in the Seattle area, 160.00. So with shipping it would cost me 545.00. I looked at AAR's site and for the same hood it would be 580.00 + 180.00 for shipping (including surcharge), bringing it to 760.00. The only question that would leave me would be the hinge area from the ebay version how strong is the hinges mounting area and if it is re-enforced like yhe one on AAR.

After just going through the pain/money, of rebuilding the hull where the inboard/outboard 350 chevy engine bolts to--- If you go to a boat parts discounter, they have epoxies and fiberglass that Napa or Walmart never heard of; that stuff is strong. Maybe reinforce the cheaper one yourself? $150 a gallon.
