DEMON autocross video!

We got the DEMON done and took it down to Tenn for an event.
The car was shot for PHR magazine and it will have a full spread on the car in about a month or so.

We did end up autocrossing the car . There were some of the best PT cars running with us. I placed 6th out of 50 cars. Some of these cars were well above the level the DEMON is.
This was my second time running a autocross as the first I ran over way to many cones .

Enjoy the video. Dont  mind the rev limiter, wasnt benefical to go to second gear .
That stock 6.1 runs great .

Bill Thanks to your parts they performed very well .

I placed 6th in the event out of 50 cars.
I was up against both DSE test camaros, a 66 vette with a LS engine , The Roadster shops chevelle, and MANY other high dollar cars.
I think bang for the buck I had them beat in that aspect .

Funny thing was the top 5 cars had a run off, I was 6th , 5th had to drop out due to a carb, vapor lock issue and I was asked to be in the top 5 run off. I had to run back to the Hotel and left the car there for the Photo shoot. They asked my father to get the car back up and run it but I wasnt sure how he would do since he never drove it. I couldnt make it back in time to run it.
So there fore 7th place went into the top 5 run off. Turns out it was airrides cars, the blue 66 chevelle.

Sunday was a drag race. Upon unloading the car from the trailer I had 2 broken rear shocks/bags so my day was done.
The top cars were running 7.93 in the 1/8 mile. It sucked since I have alot of drag race experince, I could made the car 60 ft good and run with them . I would have then had a decent chance for " King Of the Hill " There were points given for a number of things on the event from friday to sunday .
This was awesome event and very laid back .

Very coo,l I'll have to try and catch the next event, I live about an hour and 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge.  The Demon looks great!
