I know I love to look at pic of everyone else cars and progress. It's been a long and drawn out process and very expensive , but I've finally been able to make some progress in the last few weeks, so I've decided to share some of my pics with you. It's a 75 Dart Swinger with a built 360. I'll keep posting pics as I go. I'm hoping to have it running in a few weeks. Motor Built 360 about 400HP at crank, plus 125 shot of nitrous Test fit fiberglass fenders, hood, and new tires and rims. Disassembly and starting body work at the body shop. First coat of primer.

The headers are Flowtech, nothing fancy. On the original set I had, the ceramic flaked off in about 2 years and they started to rust. When I bought them from autozone, they had a lifetime guarantee So I got brand new ones. This time they came with break in instructions. Something about you have to heat cycle them so the ceramic sticks to the metal. I'll post some more pics tonight, I'm currently installing the dash and some sound deadner mat. The car also has CalTracks. Lucas

Here's some more pics, The caltracks, monleaf springs, mini tubbed, and some new tires and rims Got the dash in, and the gauge cluster in, hopefully finish the glove box, radio, and dash pad tomorrow? A pic of the sound deadner stuff. The stuff I bought is called FatMat, bought it off e-bay. Seems to lay down and stick pretty good. Also got the fuel line ran to the engine compartment, and the master cyliner installed. It was a pretty busy day.

Great project , Lucas ! You've got an awesome start to a neat combination ! 4-speed too !! I have been waitin to see what you had . I'm from up by Champaign . Any chance you'll have that baby up to Coles County next year ? I suppose you know you are surrounded by a lot of dedicated Mopar bracket racers that are there almost every week ?? Good luck with your project . Don't forget to apply patience---it helps !!------------Mopar Tom

Yep, it will definately be there next year, for sure for the fun nights, not too sure yet on all out bracket racing. Maybe here or there, but I don't think I could afford to do it every weekend. I was actually wanting to have it ready by this weekend for a show/cruze/fun night racing. It starts in Effingham at Goeckner Bros Dodge Dealership, then going to Charleston for the 1/8 mile. Sounds like an awesome time. But I won't have the windows in by then. I think that I could actually have everything else done if I really really had to. But I guess this means I can take my time and do it right the first time.

beautiful car!!! sure feels good when they have paint on them. im not trying to pick on your car but you might want to think about relocating your fuel line to the outside of the frame rail for saftey reasons.

I assume you are worried about the heat for the fuel line? Or is there something else I should be looking at? On this car I'm not really worried about the heat cross over. The ceramic headers really keep the heat in, and the motor rarely gets above 160 on the hottest days. I never thought of running them this way as being unsafe??

heat is one issue but i was thinking more along the line of if something breaks like the trans, driveshaft, engine. anything that could send flying debris that could puncture the line. just something to think about if your gonna abuse the car.

Many years ago I had a friend blew a clutch and it blasted a big hole in the cast bell housing. Cut fuel and brake lines. He was lucky and coasted to a stop. First thing fixed, all lines went outside the frame. That is one pretty car and the black dash really sets off the instument cluster. It is an inspiration, Joe.

Hopefully I'll have some more pics by tomorrow. I finished installing the sound deadner stuff. Finished the dash install. Put on new steering wheel. Started on installing the side window felt. Got the brakes and line lock hooked up, and hopefully get the motor in this afternoon or tonight. I'll try and get a pic of it outside with the new rims and tires on. The car has taken on a whole new attitude.
