Couple of us guys from my work are planning on picking up some stuff the from the states in a couple months just as a break of sorts. I'm planning on picking up some wrecked harley's/buell's, one guy is buying himself a 02-03 4 runner and also a couple wrecked harley's/buell's, and the other guy running down there wants to pick himself up a Porshe(apparently the one he wants is abundantly available at about 20K US in Vegas). So far we've formulated a trip route for heading down likely on a thursday and taking like 5 days to mosey our way back to saskatchewan, the trip route is likely going to be Las Vegas -> Los Angelas -> San Fransisco -> and then hitting up wherever we feel like on the way home.
I'm not sure if anyone on here happens to be from that area? I'd really like to know where I should look for a salvage yard in those 3 cities and anywhere that we should look at stopping at on our way back.

There's a few yards in the San Joaquin Valley still. We're only slightly off the most direct route from LA to SF. Also, depending on the time of year, Yosemite is a must see.
