No, i think i did not make myself clear. That i left my car in storage in texas. Im going to need a moving company to bring the car to Florida later. Tahat is if everything goes as planned and i end up staying. The plan is to stay. We will see how it goes? If not i could always go back to Texas,  |

i kind of like south florida. kind of. some of the best fishing in the world is right in the keys. my inlaws have a place in between miami and ft lauderdale. we were just there in june. the daily rain storms would take some getting used to and the humidity. the inlaws wer ehounding us to move wodn there when they retire but id be lost. i wouldnt know where to begin looking for a job.

Hey guys n gals. So i set out on a road trip this week to south Florida. Man what a trip, took us about three days to make it over here, cuz we had a pulley belt snap about 200 miles into the trip. I put all our stuff in a storage unit big enough for three cars, and thats where my b.b duster stayed. Man things are different over here, its going to take some getting used to, but i must say it is very beautiful. Right now we are in Orlando and should be heading to Miami in a few days. So new life, new friends, new comes to come. Wish me luck you guys. Only problem is the type of work I do is perfectly suited for NYC. I'm sure there's lots of generators in Florida and I sure do not see myself driving flowers for my sister in law. |

Well first stop was in Orlando, now we are in Homestead. Today we took a trip down to the Keys. Think i am going to end up staying somewhere close to Miami . Theres not much out here this way around homestead and thats where my dad lives and im staying now. Its pretty boring to say the least. I like the Ft. Luaderdale area. If not maybe i go up to Orlando. Just not to sure yet. Whatever i do, i cant wait till i get settled here so i can bring my Duster out here. Man i miss my car so bad. Moving sucks.

Welcome to south floriduh. You being from Texas, you would probably enjoy the town of Davie, just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, one of the last 'country' holdouts in S Fl. It's also close the the 1/8th mile track, countyline dragway. Don't forget the west coast of Florida, Naples area is nice. The further north you go, the more 'RED' the state becomes. If I could, north of West Palm Beach is as far south in Florida I'd move. And that would put you closer to the 1/4 mile track, Moroso.
