GONNA BULD MY OWN

WONDERING IF ANYONE WOULD TOSS ME THE MESUREMENTS OF THE BOLT HOLES IN THE FRONT PIVOT BLOCK

I FOUND SOME INSTRUCTIONS THAT SAY: TAKE THE MEASUREMENT FROM THE BOLT WHOLE TO THE TIP OF THE FIRST SPRING IN THE PACK (UNDER THE MAIN LEAF) AND HALF THAT
THIS WOULD BE WHERE THE PEICE WOULD LAY/LAND ON THE SPRING

PROBLEM IS: ON MY PACK (ORIGINALS FROM THE V8 CAR) THE FIRST LEAF IN THE PACK UNDER THE MAIN....RUNS ALL THE WAY UP TO THE EYE OF THE SPRING..
SHOULD I JUST GO OFF OF THE NEXT ONE DOWN THE LINE?

Mine are the same as yours, as the second leaf runs up to the eye almost. I would go to the second one which is 4.5" from the spring eye. I am guessing that yours will be the same.

I don't know if this is the same site that you have for building caltracs, but I thought I would share it to see. Others may take a looksee at the site so maybe they might wanna try building  their own, too. Grin
