my neighbor has got a 87 shelby lancer, & i have a brand new re-furbished, ie new motor & solenoids, warn 8274-50 winch, w/ new 3/8 aircraft cable, full drum, & new remote... he wants to trade, + give me some cash. car, is a numbered one, leather interior, 4spd auto, w/ lock-up convertor, later model, turbo is switched, for more boost, up to 12 lbs, computer chipped, needs tires, & new registration, he says it's rough, & also needs an oil pump, 10-15 lbs at idle, but it drops when you get into the turbo. looking for any comments, and all will be appreciated, thanks people.

If you get cash also ...it sounds fair. Do you like the car?

i highly doubt an oil pump will solve anything...probably needs bearings...i dont know if the lancers rust like the daytona's but check behind all the ground effects up under the floors and behind the front wheels up in the splash shield area and around the e-brake cable
