'64 Polara update
« on: September 30, 2008, 11:44:31 PM »

My friend's Polara - The engine is in and it runs. It's a 505 10:1 iron heads, hydraulic roller (don't know the specs, custom grind). Dyno run said 505 horsepower and 650 ft-lbs torque. He says it was a pretty flat curve too.

I rode in it a couple times. It's nuts. He'll have to get comfortable with it before he really lets it loose. It has NO problem breaking the tires loose doing 40MPH in drive. Maybe next summer he'll get some ET's with it.

Uh, yeah, I can see where that car would have no problem breaking the tires loose at 40.   What an absolutely awesome and cool car !   4 speed
